Privacy Policy

Data we collect

We collect only what is needed to operate FlakeGuard and bill for paid plans:

• Account data. Email address and a hashed password, managed via our authentication provider (better-auth).
• Upload data. The test artifacts you choose to upload — JUnit XML files, Playwright reports, or CI failure logs — and the analysis results derived from them.
• Payment data. Processed entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your card number, only the subscription state Stripe reports back to us.
• Usage analytics. Anonymous page-view and event counts via PolsiaAnalytics, the analytics component mounted in the app layout.

How we use data

We use the data described above to:

• Operate the service and authenticate signed-in users.
• Parse your uploads and generate the ranked flake analysis.
• Process subscription payments and manage billing.
• Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or service misuse.
• Understand aggregate usage so we can improve the product.

Retention

Analysis results are retained according to your subscription tier:

• Free tier: analysis results are retained for 7 days, then automatically deleted.
• Paid tier: analysis results are retained indefinitely so paid subscribers can refer back to historical reports.

Account data is kept for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. You can request earlier deletion at any time using the contact details below.

Third parties and processors

We share data only with the subprocessors needed to run the service:

• better-auth — session and credential management for your account.
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
• PolsiaAnalytics — anonymous, aggregate usage analytics.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers that store and serve the service on our behalf.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at flakeguard@polsia.app and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. That said, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of any data you transmit to the service.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will notify you through the service or by email. Your continued use of FlakeGuard after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
